The shop is located on No.26 Le Thi Rieng Street, District 1, just a short walk from Ben Thanh Market.  “Banh mi” Huynh Hoa has been operating for over 30 years and is known as the most expensive yet delicious “banh mi” in Ho Chi Minh City by far.

Foodies and loyal customers are always willing to pay at least 3 USD for a “banh mi” with thick layers of cold cuts, meat, pickled vegetables, sliced cucumbers, daikon, cilantro, chili, and paste. What makes “banh mi” Huynh Hoa among the most desirable dishes is its unique mayonnaise mix. This dish is often said to be incredibly good, meaty, and nutritious.

The shop opens daily from 9 am to 7 pm. During its peak hours from 2 pm to 5 pm, it takes up to 30 minutes to order and receive this delisious banh mi.

As for Andrea Nguyen, she rated Huynh Hoa bread as “best of the best” – “best bread” in a recent BBC article.
